If you want healthier skin, keep on reading. I am sharing some of the natural beauty tips I teach my clients to help them get glowing skin naturally.
Before we get into the nitty-gritty, I want to clarify something upfront, so you have realistic expectations. Achieving healthy skin isn't an overnight transformation. Your skin goes through a natural regeneration cycle that takes about twenty-eight days, and for more mature skin, it may take around forty-five days. So, whenever you're aiming to improve your skin's appearance, it's crucial to be patient and give your skin at least thirty days to start showing visible results.

How to Achieve Healthier Skin in 30 Days
Go Skincare Free at Least Once a Week
I understand the skepticism: "How could using less skincare actually improve my skin?" It's a question I hear from clients all the time. But here's the truth: your skin thrives when given the chance to self-regulate, regenerate, and detoxify at regular intervals, free from constant product interference.
Think of your skin as the body's largest organ, incredibly adept at maintaining its balance. However, our daily skincare routines, filled with cleansing, moisturizing, exfoliating, and product application, can disrupt this natural process.
Constantly bombarding your skin with products doesn't necessarily lead to a healthier skin barrier. It's a common misconception that more skincare products equal better skin health. In reality, simplifying your skincare routine and giving your skin some breathing room can often lead to more balanced, healthier skin in the long run.
The overuse of skincare products can lead to
A compromised skin barrier
Congested skin
Blemishes
Premature aging
Skin Irritation
Heavy burden on liver health
How to give your skin a break from beauty products
Pick at least one day a week to let your skin rest. While you sleep is a great option. Simply skip the skincare. It is a great way to support your skin while minimizing the number of ingredients your body interacts with. Don't worry; you won't age overnight or get dry skin. The skin naturally produces sebum (oil) that moisturizes the skin.
I always spend at least one day a week without skincare to allow my skin to balance itself. I also go makeup-free as often as possible. Within thirty days you should notice your skin looking calmer, more balanced, and healthy.

Eat nutrient-dense foods for healthier skin
With my background in nutrition and cosmetology, I've discovered that nutrient-dense foods are the ultimate solution for enhancing and preserving skin beauty.
It's a simple truth: radiant skin starts from within because our skin mirrors our internal health. Nutrient-dense foods lay the groundwork for healthy, glowing skin. Optimal nutrition plays a pivotal role in generating collagen and elastin, combating free radical damage, and bestowing upon the skin a youthful, luminous appearance.
Skincare undoubtedly plays a crucial role in nurturing our skin, especially when it's non-toxic. However, if you're seeking significant, long-lasting improvements, shifting your focus to your daily dietary choices is essential.
In the beauty world, there's often an overwhelming emphasis on topical products. While they can work wonders, they mainly target the skin's surface layers. That's where the power of internal nourishment comes into play.
Learning how to supply your skin with the right nutrients from within can be both empowering and delicious. I guide my clients in adopting a holistic approach to skin health, emphasizing the importance of non-toxic skincare alongside a nutrient-rich diet tailored to their individual needs. This comprehensive approach ensures optimal results that radiate from the inside out.

Use holistic beauty tools for healthier skin
Watch my television episode on LATV Network to learn more:
If you're seeking a natural and effective anti-aging solution, you're in for a pleasant surprise. Instead of resorting to invasive procedures, consider incorporating these holistic beauty tools into your routine.
Holistic beauty tools work by stimulating the dermis, the skin's middle layer where crucial components like collagen and elastin reside. By dedicating just a small amount of time each day to these practices, you can encourage healthier, more youthful-looking skin.
With consistent use over thirty days, you'll likely observe a significant improvement in your skin's appearance.
Gua Sha
The Gua Sha is an ancient Chinese natural therapy over 2,000 years old. A Gua Sha facial is performed using a smooth stone that lifts and sculpts the face while helping to improve lymphatic drainage for a brighter and healthier complexion. It does a fantastic job at improving circulation to help clear out waste products like blackheads and pimples while lifting and sculpting the face for a more youthful appearance.

Increase your hydration for healthier skin
Watch my TV episode to learn more about the importance of quality water for your health and beauty. Also, learn how to increase your consumption of water rich foods.
Ever heard the saying, "you're not old; you're just dehydrated?" Well, there's some truth to it. Dehydration doesn't just affect our body's internal functions; it also shows up on our skin, impacting both our appearance and how we feel.
Hydrated skin has a distinct radiance – it's plump, glowing, and well-moisturized. Plus, wrinkles and fine lines tend to appear less prominent. So, if you're looking to maintain a youthful and vibrant complexion, keeping your skin hydrated is key.
Signs of dehydrated skin
Pronounced facial lines
Deep-set wrinkles
Dry skin
Flaking skin
Patchy
Lack of healthy glow
How to ensure you're staying hydrated
1.) Drink half your body weight in ounces of water each day
Example: if you weigh 140lbs divided in half = 70oz water each day.
2.) If you regularly consume caffeinated drinks such as coffee or tea, you should increase your water consumption as these act as a diuretic and may increase your requirement for hydration.
3.) Eat your water: fruits and vegetables generally contain a high water concentration and are a great way to stay hydrated. Fruits and vegetables with high water concentrations are watermelon, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, and bell peppers.
4.) Add sea salt or pink salt to your water. Plain filtered water is generally not the best way to stay hydrated because it lacks the necessary minerals to help your body hold on to water to adequately nourish the cells.
5.) Try an electrolyte balance drink like this one which is my favorite. It helps hydrate your body while encouraging healthier skin, hair and nails. It also does an excellent job at minimizing stress and increasing energy levels.
Magnesium bi carbonate is my absolute favorite supplement. In fact, it is the only supplement I take daily. It contains minerals such as magnesium, calcium, silica, and potassium to encourage healthier and more vibrant skin .
Switch to Non Toxic Skincare
If you're aiming for remarkable skin results, consider making the switch to non-toxic skincare. Conventional beauty products often harbor toxins that can hasten aging and disrupt hormonal balance, leading to a host of skin issues.
Research reveals that many of these products contain endocrine disruptors like fragrance and parabens, which can wreak havoc on our hormones – a crucial factor in achieving healthy skin. Maintaining balanced hormones is vital for skin health, and reducing toxin exposure is a cornerstone of graceful aging. Our skin reflects our overall health, and by minimizing toxins in our daily routine, we can visibly improve its appearance.
Transitioning to non-toxic skincare is a fantastic way to promote healthier skin in just thirty days. These products are enriched with nourishing vitamins that support your skin's beauty, resulting in a radiant complexion that speaks volumes.
Exfoliate for healthier skin
Exfoliation is an essential step to any skincare routine. Regular exfoliation helps to slough off dead skin cells, helps with cell renewal, helps products penetrate better, and encourages healthier and more vibrant skin. It is important to pay attention to the unique needs of your skin to figure out how often you need to exfoliate. Generally, 1-2'xs per week is the recommended frequency.
OSEA Seaglow Overnight Serum AHA Treatment: This overnight treatment does an excellent job at brightening the skin and minimizing the appearance of hyper pigmentation. The natural ingredients are gentle yet effective. After a night of beauty rest you will wake up and your skin will be glowing!
Cleanse for healthier skin
Cleansing the skin is essential to remove impurities and bacteria and allow skincare products to penetrate the skin effectively. Many people often over cleanse their skin with harsh ingredients that strip the skin of moisture which can alter the skins barrier and welcome bacteria and pre mature aging. Instead of using harsh sudsy cleansers try a gentle cleanser instead for balanced and healthy skin.
I always recommended double cleansing your skin, especially if you wear makeup. For most skin types using an oil cleanser is a great option for breaking down makeup. Then follow up with a gentle cleanser like this one.
A gentle cream cleanser that removes impurities without stripping the skin. It is pH-balanced and fragrance-free, making it perfect for sensitive skin. It leaves the skin feeling moisturized, soft, and smooth. It is rich in seaweed to help restore hydration and plant-based ingredients for a healthy glow.
This cleanser does a great job of gently cleansing the skin while providing moisture. It will never make your skin feel tight or dry after using it. It is perfect for those with mature, dry, or sensitive skin.
Applying a serum before your moisturizer will help to increase moisture retention and encourage graceful aging. If you want your skin to look extra glowing, fine lines to be less obvious, and your skin to stay hydrated, I suggest a hyaluronic acid serum like this one.
This hyaluronic acid serum is a game-changer! A fantastic product that will take your skincare routine up a notch. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that draws moisture into the skin. It can bind up to 1,000x's its weight in water. Regularly using a hyaluronic acid serum in your skincare routine can help with moisture retention, plump and firm the skin, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and support elasticity.
The Hyaluronic Sea Serum is an award-winning product that genuinely delivers impressive results. I notice a visible difference using this product. It helps reduce redness, plumps up the skin, and does a great job of aiding in moisture retention.
Moisturize for healthier skin
Healthy and glowing skin is all about moisture retention. Moisturized skin appears plump, balanced, and healthy. To ensure your skin stays moisturized you will want to use a product with deeply moisturizing properties while being non pore clogging.
A high-performing and luxurious facial moisturizer with excellent anti-aging ingredients to plump, firm, tone, and moisturize skin. It has a unique amino acid blend that targets the signs of aging and encourages a more youthful, glowing appearance.
The application is so dreamy and does a great job of intensely hydrating and moisturizing the skin while you sleep. I love how well the advanced protection cream absorbs into the skin and instantly reduces redness. Plus, you only need a tiny amount. A little goes a long way.
Facial masks like this one are great way to support the health of the skin on a deeper level. Most face masks contain concentrated ingredients that can work wonders for the skin in a short amount of time.
This mask brightens and nourishes the skin. Mineral Peptides plump the skin, while Hyaluronic Acid draws in water for lasting hydration. I love the licorice in this mask which is a natural dark spot remover. Perfect for minimizing sun-damaged skin and hyper pigmentation.
You can use this mask for a quick ten minute facial or leave on over night as a sleep mask which is what I like to do.
